Attendance
All students must attend as specified by the school. Absenteeism requires an explanation in writing from parents at all times. Hence, permission of the class teacher is required when leaving school during the school hours. Parents are advised not to take their children out of school at other times during the term.
Punctuality
This will be maintained in all spheres of school life, for example, assembly, recess, lunch break and co-curricular activities or handing in of assignments daily. Students must be at school by 7:40 a.m. Children arriving after 8:00 a.m. bell, will be required to sit outside their classroom until the end of the first period.
School Hours
Children in the Playgroup Class to Prep 3 will attend school from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m from Monday to Friday. Primary, Secondary & College students timings are 7:45 a.m to 1:30 p.m from Monday to Saturday and Friday from 7:45 a.m to 12:30 p.m.
Homework / Assignments
This is part of the daily routine at the school and is aimed at getting the student to work independently. Parents are requested to supervise their children’s homework. Any student who fails to do his homework will be required to produce a letter from his/her parents. A student who continually fails to do assignments may be suspended from school.
Good Behavior
Students will be expected to observe good behaviour at all times. They may be suspended or expelled for gross misconduct, and the parents will be required to meet the teacher concerned and the Headteacher before they can be re-admitted to the class.
Physical Education Gear
Physical education gear refers to clothing and equipment that is worn or used during physical education classes or activities. The specific gear required may vary depending on the type of physical activity being performed and the environment in which it takes place. The teacher appointed to supervise physical education activities will determine what gear is needed for a specific activity.
